Delete My Account
Last Updated: August 18, 2025
This page explains how account and data deletion works in KayanOS. Because KayanOS is an enterprise operating system, your organization — not the individual member — owns and controls its account and the data within it.
Who Controls Your Account
If you use KayanOS as a member of an organization, your organization is the account owner and Data Controller. Individual members do not delete the organization account; that is managed by the organization’s administrator. If you only need your own member access removed, your organization’s administrator can deactivate or remove your user from within the platform.
Deleting Organization Data and the Administrator Account
To delete your organization’s data and its administrator account, send a deletion request from the administrator’s registered email address to delete-org@kayanos.com. To help us verify the request and locate the correct account, please include your organization name and the administrator account email.
What Is Removed
Once a deletion request is verified and processed, we remove the organization account and its associated data — including user records, user-generated content, documents, and workflows — from our active production systems.
Retention
Some information may be retained for a limited period where required by law, for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes and enforcing agreements, or in routine backups that are cycled out over time. Retained data remains protected by the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy and Security pages.
